I think Sierra made an extremely big mistake by not making Larry 8. That's only game I was looking forward to from their entire library. Oh yeah, I love the site Al. Finish that book. It's going to be a must have!

Hello Al! The first part of Larry, was the first adventure game I ever played. I hope you will release the 8th one, or just another adventure.

We think Leisure Suit Larry 7 was the best ever (except if there was Larry 8) We enjoy games that make us laugh. If Sierra will not do Larry 8, maybe you could do another character for say Simon & schuster. Your name is known and you have a laughter based following. Thanks for Larry!!!!

I think stopping the production of LSL was the single most stupidest thing Sierra have ever done. LSL was the best game I have ever played., Sierra havn't got a clue what they've done! If you want to please all your LSL fans out there, move to another company to make LSL. 'Lucas Arts' have make a couple of great adventure games like 'Monkey Island' and 'Grim Fandango'. You must do something. Larry must live at least once again!

Hi Al, Larry 3 was the first adventure game I ever played as a kid (yeah I cheated on the age test), and I'm sure my weird sense of humour can be atleast partially traced back to your game. Shame on you for corrupting the youth. ;) Thanks for the memories - I still find myself humming the theme tune almost 10 years on.

Sierra has always been my favorite developers and i have every quest game under the sun but larry has to be my all time favorite Good work Al and you should see if you can get the rights to larry and make the 8'th game ... also i heard that larry is you ... :P

Thank you You for all! You do not visualize, AS we like Your plays and Your humour! We with friend many watch returned and got an enourmous pleasure. (Particularly Your output from closet in LSL1-VGA) :-)) Regrettably me as well as not to manage äîčãđāōü in plays LSL2-6, but LSL7 - simply masterpiece. All Your plays hitherto bring a pleasure, though we played in them on 100 once. Ask You, on behalf of all my friend in Moscow, - do not throw LARRY!!!

Al, Al, Al. How can I say all that I feel about your work? Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting one of my all-time favourite people, Eric Idle, after a performance in Toronto and, while getting his autograph, I was going to say something to him to thank him for all the mirth he has provided over many years. Unfortunately, someone interrupted him just as he had finished signing my autograph and I didn't get the chance to converse with him. All I could do was mumble, "Thanks," as the next person in line stepped up. So, I would like to say a very big, "Thank You!" to you for giving me so many hours of fun with our good friend Leisure Suit Larry. He was one of the first games I bought for my Atari ST and was the first program I transferred to my first hard drive. He was the first title I purchased for my first IBM compatible and I have played every one. Without you and your fine work, I would never have known what to do with Venezualan Beaver Cheese and Kumquats or where to purchase a non-ribbed, tartan rubber in Lost Wages

Hi, Al! I adorer your work since I started playing computer games on an old XT.Of course one of the first games I ever played was Larry I. What an exited moment when I saved up enough money to buy it. Then all your next games found their way to my HDD an still reside on my XT and 386 - and guess what they still played and still give me hours and hours of plesure. Also now you act like a real example for game designers in allowing to load down your gems as abandonware. Hope there are followers! Keep up the good work and we waiting for your next game very unpatiently. Greetings from good old Europe Wolfgang

How come everyone always talks about Larry Laffer, but never says a word about my all-time hero, Freddy Pharkas? I had a blast beta testing one of the Larry series, but Freddy was more fun to test! As you can see from "my home page", I fell in love with Babette the sheep at the brothel in Freddy, and since I developed an allergy to sheep wool, I've taken up with goats now. This is an easy-to-use nice website, although I regret that there are parts in it that I hoped that they wouldn't be necessairy. Larry 8 should be completed. Larry isn't just a computergame, it's a symbol. For me, a lot of my friends, and many more. For me Larry means, playing one of the Larry games on a Saturday the whole day and night, it means humor with all that Larry does. When Larry 7 just got out and I finished it a 6 days later, I was thrilled because there would be another Larry game: Larry 8. And I started thinking how would Larry 8 be like? Every time when I saw the outro and the PMS Bouncy is been pulled on the spaceship. And I started to wonder how the other decks of the ship would be like. (When your in the part of the ship where you see Lefty playing his piano and you click on other decks and click on 'look' the narrator says: These decks are reserved for: 'Leisure Suit Larry 8: Lust in Space', don't try going their this game.) These are one of the things that makes it, for me, worse that L

Great site! FREDDY PHARKAS: FRONTIER PHARMACIST is one of my all-time favorite adventure games. In fact, I stole all of the horse flatulence gags for my comedy novel HOW TO RESCUE A DEAD PRINCESS. (Okay, not really, but that seemed like a good way to sneak in a cheap plug.) I remember a friend bringing in the box for his copy of THE BLACK CAULDRON a looooooong time ago and being seriously impressed...and now I finally get to play it. Cool.

What can I say that has not been said before! I first came across Larry in LSL1 on my old XT monochrome monitor system. Brilliant work! What the older versions lacked in graphics, they more than made up for in the storyline, which is truly original and fresh, even today.

Al, you rule. I can remember when in Jr. High I called up Sierra to talk to a programmer to get some insight for a paper I was writting. You see, computers have always facinated me, and becoming a game designer or programmer was something I always thought I'd like to do. So when I got hold of everyone in Oakhurst I was quite overwhelmed. I spoke to Robert Heitman and Chris Iden, but I'm sure if you had known, you would have been first in line to talk to me. Thanks for being there when I neede you. Did I mention that you rule.

I remember back in the day when I used to huddle around the family computer with my cousins and watch Larry run around in a panic, dying of an STD. It pains me to see this great series stuck in limbo; as I pray for another installment, I only have "Love For Sail" to keep me company during these long, dark nights. Hi Al, I couldn't pass up this opportunity to thank you for the many hours of fun I've had playing LSL. My wife got me the ultimate pleasure pack for Christmas and I just finished playing LSL7 for the first time. My favorite parts of the game were the animated Bill Clinton and the Peggy character. I would love to see a LSL8 as much as the other fans, but I hope you're not letting it consume you. (Reading through your pages, I don't think it has.) Good Luck to you. Daryl

Hey Al, Great games. I'm glad that you're keeping in touch with your avid LSL fans, myself included. I first played the games in college. It was fun to put my mind together with some other guys on my dorm floor to solve the puzzles. I was sorry that Sierra shelved your game and Space Quest series. You and the two guys from Andromeda made Sierra. Oh, I guess Roberta Williams is pretty cool too. : ) I like many others hope for a future 2D animated LSL8 in the not to distant future. Hi Al I realy love your site, but one thing that raly piss me off is that Sierra wont make another larry game. I have all the larry games and it took me 1/2 year to finish Larry 7. When a read down the page about larry's gonne i was thinking that another studio could by the copiright to Sierra and hiar u to write it, caus larry is realy making money. but if not some studio was willing to manke it (that i hope not) then sierra have to take there time and find out that larry realy rocks. i hope there would come a larry game (i've been wayting for it for since 1998). the site i realy cool with realy lots off larry stuff. Hi Al. So kind of you to spend all those hours and years to create games that were like nothing else. I had the first three parts to my Atari ST, but unfortunately Atari does not exist and so my quest was to buy the Larry pack from Sierra. I am right now generally pissed at the service they provided. I asked how I could buy it, since it wasn't listed on their shopping site, and the answer I got was to turn to the UK. I did, and they said that the product wasn't sold by them anymore, and that I should turn my question to Sierra US. I did, and the answer I got was to check out their website. Really lousy service indeed, and Al: I would gladly spend fourty bucks on 16 years work, so anyone have any idea how to go about doing that in Sweden or anywhere? As for sending you jokes, I'm sure you've heard a great deal of them, so I'll avoid flooding your email unless you really want that. Thank you once again for the kindness you've shown so many across the world for the wonderful (wicked) games you've created.

Here is what I think Al, Sierra has gone down the tubes, the flagships of the company IMHO were the KQ and LSL games and now they are no more.

I've been a fan since I picked up LSL2 back in '89. I've always looked forward to the next Larry game; I'm sorry that there's no LSL8 in the near future. I say "near future" because, well, I'm a bit of an optimist. Your irreverent sense of humor has inspired my gameplaying and, ultimately, my career choice. I'm a budding playwright, and right now, my subject matter seems to hover around parties and pick-up joints. In fact, my latest play has a Larry-esque character, right down to the leisure suit and cheesy pickup lines. Hmmm...where did I get inspired to do stuff like that? Heck if I know! Thank you for your games, for your humor, and, above all, for showing all of us that any goombah can make a living doing what he loves to do. God bless you, Al, and thank you once again for giving the world Larry, Larry Laffer.

Hi Al! Thank you for letting us get all the background information on LSL, I never thought that the Larry4 issue was that complex. I REALLY hope that you will be able to continue create your wonderful adventure games, if not for profit - why not start creating old AGI games again? If you've lost your tools, I've got new for you. Hehe. I worked together with Lance Ewing and Peter Kelly on "reversing" the AGI resource format, and we wrote some utilities. All this just to squeeze out the extra goodies of the old Sierra games..? It's worth it! Unfortunately I have never the time to finish my work, but some day...... :) Kind regards Joakim

Hi Al, thanks for making us laff. Like all the others I think it´s a crying shame Sierra cancelled our hero Larry. I had tears in my eyes after downloading the LSL8 intro. Larry guided me through teenage wildlife and adolescence, I played them all (love 1 + 7 best). I miss the music, the humour and some hair by now, but we´ll never give up hope. LSL formed my sense of humour and (hopefully) improved my English. Just one simple (rhetorical) question to Sierra: if there is demand, why there is no supply? Larry´s fans have grown up and new ones join, the profit margin should be huge! BTW: I hate Homeworld! Bye, Joerg

Al, you rock. I am so disappointed to hear there is no Larry 8!! I have been a huge fan for a long time, and I don't understand why they think LSL8 wouldn't be a good idea? It's ridiculous... Anyway, keep it up, you kick my lame ass!!!

Thanks for the Larry games, FPFP, and all the other works you've contributed to over the years! Sorry to see the vast wipeout of the true Sierra staff, but hey, that's corporate America for you. It was great to find this website and catch all the latest from the warped mind of Al Lowe! You've got a definite sale on that book of yours when I find one. Take care and good luck.

For me Al Lowe and his games (larry anyone?) were the first ones I've ever played. Back when most of the games in the market were dum, I was playing larry 1 (unprotected by viruses --- ugh I remember the blasted jerusalem) and I was trying to get that unknown thing from the rail, but I was always falling... So long as Al Lowe breaths, Larry Laffer lives. LSL1 was the first PC game I enjoyed. LSL7 is the most recent... ...and I still can't stop whistling the theme. I hope to read more about your endeavors in the future. My hope is that you might write more about your views on the game genre, how the games developed, insights into the Laffer, etc. As Red Green says, "I'm rootin' for ya. We're all in this together!"

To bad, Al. I really enjoyed playing LSL, ever since I was a little boy. It was not only entertainment, but by playing LSL, my English is where it is now. Not bad, I thought. All thanks to you, because I needed to know quite some English words to succesfully complete the LSL games. I finished them all! Give my thanks also to Larry, Passionate Patti, Lefty and the rest. Thank you, not only for LSL, but also for the typically Al Lowe games like Freddy Pharkas (remember him?). You are the man, AL!

Even if the Bastards at Sierra Online dont appreciate a clever and witty game, you should know that your legions of fans do. It seems that anymore if a character in a game doesn't have a M16 strapped to them that they are not accepted as entertaining figures. Its a sad thing that adventure gaming had to die before more advanced technology could improve game play. Don't give up on us Al. Your fans still care. Matt Milliman

12-Sep-2000

Wolfgang Klein

Hey Al, thanks for all those great Larry games you've brought us over the years. I'll never forget the times when playing Larry I on my father's XT (with spectacular 20 MB HDD) and every now and then found out another place to go to with the taxi guy :) As a guy with poor english at the age of 9 *smile* I had quite a hard time getting through the age verification system - actually, my father had a hard time trying to watch TV while I just didn't stop him asking questions about some american presidents .... Shame on Sierra they've given up classic adventure games and hopped right into the 3D-Hype, but Hey .... after all that work, Larry truely deserved to calm down with a whiskey or two sitting next to Roger Wilco, the knife-selling native from LSL3's beach and the meant-to-be-winner of the dating show in Lefty's Bar, talking about the old times (EGA graphics with astonishing 16 colors !) and every now and then make that guy from the airplane shut up. So, every now and then, try to remember those jokes you've been forced to hea

I only played LSL7 in it's whole entirety. Did watch as my brother played LSL1 on our second computer, and remember wondering why he just can't get past some door. Then for many many years, we didn't have Larry Laffer until LSL7, when we had our fourth or fifth computer. Now I can't find the LSL7 cd! Argg! I wonder why the whole series is being sold for such a cheap price... if so, why not make the very first game a demo or freeware. Here, few people have heard of this game. But if I do come across the series, I might buy it, because LSL7 was totally hilarious! Haha.... the crazy balloon-blower on the deck!

Just think of Sierra's recent behavior this way: I recently wrote them an e-mail asking about Roger Wilco's future. I even got an answer which told me that there weren't going to be any more Leisure Suit Larry games in the near future.

31-Aug-2000

(In response to the previous message) In that case, let's develop a new interpreter, and make LSL8 with that. Anyway, what's wrong with freeware?

It's a shame Sierra treats u like that after all u gave to our generation (i'm 22). Since the days when we used to play larry in our daddy's computer while he was away to the days where we go out in search for girls just like Larry did and were aware many times that we were a bit (sometimes more than a bit) like him I found that he is part of a lot of people's life (the other day a friend and I laughed becaused we found someone just like Larry and after laughing we began to remember how much fun it was playing all those games!). I don't know you, i've always considered you as a rich fat guy who decided to invent a parody of an early himself in a computer game (dunno why), so i can't figure out what this letter may cause to your deepest feelings. Anywa (i never imagined i'd write u someday), i'm very pleased to tell you all those things, and i'd like to thank you for everything you've done, no matter what the future may be, you are truly a great creator! Good luck. Ivan, from Spain (pd: why don't u make a movie about larry?

I'm a big fan of Larry in Taiwan. I've played all Larry's game except lsl3. But I've never met another Larry's fan here. It's kind of lonely. In fact, it's hard to buy Larry's game in my place. However, thanks for the internet, I bought the "Love for sail" & "Larry's casino" on line. Sorry to hear that Larry 8 has been cancelled. *Sigh* I'am waiting for it for years.

OK This is America...Everybody who comes across this message needs to to spreed to all the Larry Fans out there. bombard Sierra with E-mails demanding Al Lowe to be rehired and to continue with the LSL8 Project. Are we doomed for life here. "Action Must be taken . We dont need the Key well Break in." This is serious BILLSHIT. All you english majors need to write some award winning papers that will persuade sierra into rehirng Al. He is a Genius!!!!!!I need letters, emails, threats, what ever it takes.....We all need to do our part here. (dont forget how those LsL games made you feel back then when you spent hours trying to guess the right answer just so you could play the dirtiest version) We Need ACtion NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since Sierra (and Al?) are obviously not going to make any more games, we ought to get together and make LSL4 or LSL8 ourselves, after all we have AGI Studio (Adventure Game Interpreter), and pretty soon, we will have SCI Studio (Sierra's Creative Interpreter) so we can create games of LSL3 quality. Visit http://www.bripro.com for info on SCI Studio http://www.ozemail.com.au/~ptrkelly/agi for info on AGI Studio Visit http://members.xoom.com/_XMCM/agi_sci/main.htm for the Ultimate AGI & SCI Website.

My friend Vempyre was right, PLEASE go out on your own, and make another leisure suit larry sort of game. The only reason why I liked sierra was because of your work, and now, they are nothing. I believe in you, and I look up to you. Please dont let myself and every other larry lover in this world down. Hey Al, great page. I would be glad about to see more pics or gifs 'bout Larry, but the music part is very, very cool. I always searched for the Larry main theme, unless I did find your page. Thank you very much. So, I stll hope, that the Larry story would be continued with Larry8, but not, when Sierra decides to do this without you. You are Larry's father, you have to continue. So, I wish you, and Larry of course, all best in the future! Hermy

Hey Al, Great page. It's too bad of what I heard about LSL8: Lust In Space. I was really looking forward into buying the game. I love all of your games especially Larry. I bought the Ultimate Pleasure Pack about a couple of months ago. Do you know where I could get a walk-thru for LSL 1-6? If so, that would be great. Man, everytime when I see the hot looking girls in LSL7, I go crazy! Hey man, I'm a girl lover what can I say! Well, keep up the hard work.

One word.. brilliant. That's what you are. The whole concept of the Larry games is something I've rarely seen before. How Sierra can just ignore the fact that the games are so ingenious is beyond me. Anyway, just thought I'd say what was on my mind. Great games.. I hope you'll be given the opportunity to make LSL8 someday soon.

Maybe all Larry games are the best games i Ever Played!!!but there is one thing i dont like about. why is Larry for Mature 17 Year olds???? im 13 i played all Larry Games!!Even 7 uncensored and i think larry 1 doesnt desrve any quiz!! there r no Cuss Words, the sex is censored, just people.why does it have then a adult check??? it doesnt deserves any.But still i love all larry Games: here is my Rating age and game all games Larry1:Age 13+teen game:94% Larry2:Age 13+teen game:95% Larry3:Game:92% Larry5:Age 13+teen Game:95% Larry6:Age 15+ Game 97%!!!! Larry7:Age at least 16 Game:96% May b it was tha ESRB but if you have any answer to MATURE Larry please write an e Mail to me!! Thanx!!Bye

Thanks for all the Larry games, Mr Lowe. Don't worry, I'm sure they'll make LSL8 pretty soon, cause people will eventually get bored of First Person Shooters (i dont see why they like them...they're all the same, with different weapons and backgrounds). It's just a matter of time before whatever moron running Sierra notices it. In the meantime, keep up the good work on this site, and stay healthy :)

Al, I am SO glad I found your site! As a player of all the Larry games, I can only thank you for many, many hours of enjoyment and anticipation! Way back in 1992, I met the woman who would become my wife while playing in LarryLand on TSN. I moved out to California, went to work for TSN in Oakhurst, and stayed with them until right before the sale to AOL. I never liked the way Sierra treated its employees (as witnessed by their appreciation for your work) But because of you and the original people who truly believed in the future, I have a wonderful life now, including a new son! You can see the story of how my wife and I met at her website, http://www.rlrose.com Thank you, Al Lowe! There are still some of us who remember the good days of Sierra and what it meant to be a part of something that made a difference!

Hi... Just dropping you a quick message... Saying that was some damn good gameplay... (Leisure Suit Larry 1 is my fav)I have tried to get the game code to create similar games... but sierra won't release it... But I have always loved the graphics of the sierra adventure games (Only the originals, Sq1 &2 PQ1, KQ1 etc.) And I just want to say that you did a brilliant part in whatever part you actually did.... That probably sounds weird... But I have no idea what part of the game you did... But Your a very famous guy so must have been the head honcho or something and did something very important... So Cheers on a great game.... (By the way the rest of the Leisure suit larrys were good to.. but 1 was my favorite)

Thank you Al for coming up with the idea of Leisure Suit Larry. I had a blast playing through all of the games! I sure hope Sierra brings back Larry for another game, because being handcuffed to a bed is not a proper way to end the legacy of Larry; Larry Laffer. *hm!hm!*

Sierra is one of the best software companies in the world. To mock Sierra is a sin. Sierra produced Half Life, Homeworld, and many of the best video games ever created on the face of the Earth. Sierra has certainly made a crucial decision about the lifespan of Larry Laffer. The line of Larry and Patty (I miss her too) games only appealed the adults due to its content. Now that the children's generation rules the computer gaming world, Sierra will not profit as much as they would if they invested their money on Larry. Despite the sad truth about Sierra's attitude toward Larry, Larry still lives. In our soul. In our minds. In our hearts. God bless Larry and rest in peace. You have done a fine job.

Al! I must say I am bummed that Sierra chose to stop lsl8, as well, from what I can gather, choose to let you go. Ever since the change in Management (Away from K&RW) things have been going downhill. They killed LSL8, SP7, B5, as well as several Middle Earth based Titles. I hope to see you join the Ex Sierra group based around Oakhurst. You guys could make some killer games. I really dont think Sierra, NE Havas Interactive quite gets loyallty. There are tons of people like me, whos first Game was Kings Quest, or SP or LSL1. I, for one, have abandonded them. I am 27 now, and have played a ton of your games, including Torins Passage, Freddy Farkas and The Black Cauldron. To sum up my incoherent ramblings, I just want to say THANK YOU, for the fun and entertainment you have brought me. I will keep an eye out on this site for Future AL Lowe (TM) ;) designed games. -Rand

Larry Laffer was disgusting! He made me vomit all over my computer screen! And this is why I love him so much! I wish that Sierra made a LSL8, but as LSL8 has the same fate as Space Quest 7, I continue to say "f*ck Sierra!!!" in my head all the time...

I wish sierra would realize that the trend now is retro. Your games had a classic feel and I loved that. They were straight forward and some the rewards for solving the puzzles were comical. I am a big lsl fan and wish you and your humor the best of luck. Polyester will never die, or wrinkle, but it can catch on fire.

Hey Al, great site. I'm 21, and I've been playing Larry games since 1987 when LSL1 first hit the stores. (yes, I was 8 when that came out..) Anyhow, I have been hooked ever since. Larry is a great series, and I would hope that Sierra would have the brains to get back on LSL 8, because I know all the fans are looking forward to it. ... By the way, I would encourage everyone to sign up for Al's CyberJoke 3000 mailing list. The daily jokes are great, and are especially helpful when you need a laugh. Keep up the fun stuff Al!

when it comes to adventure games you are the best and i know i speak for a lot of people when i say we want you back creating more games- we know you can't continue LSL but there are plenty of different themes to work with. i am sure that you and some of those other warped individuals that sierra let go could band together and put out some awesome stuff- al just remember the adventure gamers need you, we need the comedy back, we don't like the blood and guts shoot 'em up

From the year 1985 to 1998 they have made adventure games as we (want) to know them: "Point'n click". I haven't seen one single new game in the stores or magazines since then ! And on the upcoming games lists I don't see any upcoming adventure games !.. What does this mean ?! Huh ? Any other bothered ?.. Or should I say: Worried sick ?

Hi, I'm from England I think the Larry games are the best. It's such a shame that you can't release 8. However, I was never able to get hold of 7. I hope they release the completed adventures here and then I'll boycott Sierra. Why don't you just write the game anyway and sell it by mail order. You know we'll all buy it. And if anyone can help me with 7, I'll be grateful.

Your site is great, loved the site gags! I've had a thing for Larry ever since the first time I experienced him at the tender age of 11? 12? on my Atari computer. I can honestly say he shaped me into the woman I am today. My husband says thank you.

I just love LSL. Too bad it had to end. Perhaps another team should be put together to create #8? With Al on top ofcourse :) Seriously. LSL 8 has to be released! We're getting fed up with all those 3D action games, and want some good old adventure games, with the plain recognisable characters. Who of us didn't like the larry series, or the police quest series? Don't give up and bring out the LSL 8 ! (and if possible nine and ten too :) )

Hey yo, Al! I thought about Larry 8 once again: If you do it (and you've got Millions of fans behind you) you should do it like Larry 7: Paint it! The animations were good. But you can do them better. The movies were good, but they can be even fantastic! And the sound was good, but... you know what I'am talking about! Don't ya? You improve Leisure Suit Larry 7 Love For Sail, give it an even better story and name it Larry 8! That's it, folks! I would buy two copies of it! Okay, see you later, Manuel

28-Mar-2000

Manuel

Hanau, Hessen, Germany

Hi again! I thought about Larry 8, from which I hope you work on, my pal Al: I don't like the idea that it is/should be in 3D. I liked the way the grafic was in Larry 7. Okay, I know, the graphic also has to develope. But rendering? No, that's not the style of Leisure Suit Larry. Not a 3D game. That's not the style of Al Lowe. Work on the paintings. Work on the engine, so that we don't see any bad graphic anymore (no more big pixels etc.) And then Larry is better than ever. I think Larry 7 Love for Sail is the best Larry-Game in the history. So don't do Larry 8 in 3d. I am talking about Larry 8, but where is it? So, if you do it, take my tip! Thanks for your attention, Your big fan Manuel PS: Later I want also to make my own computergames. So, when I am 18 and come to America (and you still live) - do you have a job for me?

I love the larry series..laughed & loved them all..cept I'm really havin a problem with 7..I find myself becoming frustrated with the "verb typing crap" I've been playing the game for close to a mth now & am less than 500 points.. I don't want a walk through or serious hints.. but a list of possible verbs would have been nice Al.. I've won all of the other games in the series but.. this one seems to have a strange set of rules.. cmon al..or someone.. what am i missin? Roberta & Ken can F*** off!! yer still alright AL!!

Al I've enjoyed your Leisure Suit Larry series ever since I copi.....er....borrowed a part one from a friend. You managed to create a character that was able to survive in the fast paced world of computer gaming without loosing its charm. Larry was the little pervert that existed in everyone but some people were afraid to show that side of themselves and these games gave them the chance to be what they wanted....a middle aged guy in a polyester suit with a bad comb over. Anyway, thanks for the hours of enjoyment and I hope the series will soon have another chance to prove its worth.

Hello! I am a huge Leisure Suit Larry fan. I've got LSL 1, 1 VSG???, 2, 3, 5, both number 6. And the Larry utilities. Though I've looked for it here in Norway, I've only seen number 7 once, when I bought my first LSL game, number 6. I remembered LSL from my childhood, when I visited my uncle and family, and his son sat and played LSL 1. That will be forever printed in my brain. I've almost given up searching for number 7, since I am told that Sierra doesn't send them out anymore. It wil forever be a great loss for me. Hope that you still, for many years can make adventure games, though the LSL series is over. My wishes, HÅVARD JACOBSEN REIGSTAD!!!!

Al... Everyone here speak the truth... Sierra is not much without Larry, you know it makes me pissed that they would make you, but a faithful and loyal servant to go, everyone must see that there are clear signs of insanity on their part here. PEOPLE, er I mean every one who reads this, support Al Lowe, e-mail Sierra day and night! PROTEST!!! STRIKE!!! TELL THEM WHAT WE WANT!!! Because if Sierra is convinced that Lust in Space will sell, they will take Al up on it and that my fellow fans is what we what! I say, let everyone know how many Larry fans there are out here, if we fight we can help Al to continue on with his creation. Let the world know!!! THIS IS A SERIOUS REQUEST Does the "Sierra Creative Interpreter" still exist? If so, do you have access to it? The EGA Version is what I am hunting for, and no-one has totally decoded it. I heard in an interview that you said you almost did give it away, but weren't allowed. Sierra abandoned it in 1997. So give it to me, please!

PART 2 Shaking innocent little hands and she sent me on my way outside to the dark cold Coaresgold weather, When I arrived back to Sydney and the Ropeburn around my neck slowly began to heal (Ok I'm being a TAD Dramatic) I received a letter From Ken saying thanks for the Vegemite which was nice and said next time I went to Coarsegold I could have my own personal Tour, Well I was a happy little Go-Getter, but sadly by the time I was 18 and had the money to go back (98) Sierra slowly evaporated and dissapeared and the Harsh Sting Of Coaresgold but my fragile Little Heart once more! But the truth is I would endure that a million times For just ONE MORE LARRY GAME!!!!! So I want all of you to chip in, Stop donating to Charaties, dont give money at church and alll put your money together and buy the rights to Leisure Suit Larry and give them back to Poor Al, if not do it for poor little Dane who travelled the world for Sierra and Larry! Hi AL and lesserfolk! You proberly dont remember me, I wrote to Sierra numerous times because I was such an innocent little fan, and whilst little at the time I managed to buy every Larry game available with my grubby little hands, I managed to get the autographs of practically the entire staff of Sierra of the early ninties, I was such a happy little Chap, then before I was visiting America my mother wrote a letter to sierra asking about visits and tours and things, and they kindly sent us a letter back explaining all about those things so eventually when I arrived in the US of A I ran as fast as my little legs could carry me to Sierra Studios (Well my parents drove most of the way) and only to find out that they were changing location (this was 1994) I showed them the letter but they said they didn't have any tours available at the moment, I asked to see Ken Williams because I brought him and the staff some Tasty Aussie Vegemite! The Secretary Grumbled and snatched the vegemite from my emotionally crippled Shaking innocent little

Well recently I am playing the all quest series and Lsl games. I admit that I have downloaded them (blush) but I have no other choice because orginal games are not sold here. The thing I have to tell is that they're GREAT! Those new multi cd , games with fx and so is just Nothing compared to them. (By the way I think I had a few grammer mistakes if so sorry) I would like to see LSL8 and buy it if the orginal game comes here also. Thanks for creating a real new type of pc game Al

I must disagree with the feeling that adventure games are dead. Many RPG's are in essence adventure games, for example: Baldur's Gate. RPG's, like traditional adv. games, have pre-written stories, and players simply play the role of the "adventurer"!

Al, I think this is a great site to visit. It's quite informative about Leisure Suit Larry as well as full of your jokes from that great sense of humor you have. Your games make me laugh all the way
